摘　　要：美国作家爱德华·P·琼斯的《已知世界》是继托尼·莫里森的《宠儿》之后又一部获得普利策奖的蓄奴题材小说。其中以南方种植园为背景的家园空间,在内战前夕处于分裂和回归异化的阴影之下,虽然在"第三空间"中,边缘阶层以其开放视角构建了多元包容的家园意象,但琼斯对结尾的开放和模糊处理,仍延续了对空间焦虑及其蕴含的生产及社会关系隐喻的思考。The Known World written by American writer Edward P Jones is another novel about slavery winning Pulitzer Prize,following Toni Morrison’s Beloved. In the novel,the home space,on the background of the southern plantation,was in the shadow of division and＂returning alienation＂before the civil war. Although in the＂the third space＂,the marginal people have constructed the diversified and comprehensive home image,Jones’ s opening and blurred ending is still a continuation of the reflections on the space anxiety as well as its implication and metaphor of productive and social relations.
