维特根斯坦的梯子:语言哲学视阈中的斯泰因和贝克特

摘　　要：本文以《维特根斯坦的梯子》为基石,探讨维特根斯坦语言哲学和文学之间的渊源。首先,维特根斯坦借助语言的中介作用洞察哲学的文学性和文学的哲学性,他的《逻辑哲学论》和《哲学研究》都可以解读成典型的后现代文学文本。其次,斯泰因的诗学体系像维特根斯坦的语言哲学那样,试图解除某种形而上的困惑,她将众多双关语建立在日常语言基础上,经由文字游戏解决哲学难题或实行文化干预,如颠覆未来主义学派的战争观和性别观。最后,维特根斯坦的语言哲学观也渗透到贝克特的小说中,使后者一方面强调语境对于词语意义的重大作用,另一方面设置众多叙述迷宫和语言困境,以此告诉人们:语言最有效误用之时,也即语言最有效运用之时。Based upon Wittgenstein＇s Ladder： Poetic Language and the Strangeness of the Ordinary by Marjorie Perloff, this paper in- tends to discover the bonds between literature and Wittgenstein＇s philosophy of language. Taking language as the medium, Witt- genstein explores poetic nature in philosophy and philosophical implication in literature in Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus and Philosophical Investigation that can be considered as postmodern texts. Like Wittgenstein, Stein attempts to dissolve metaphysical puzzles and carry out cultural intervention by puns in which Futurists＇ views on wars and gender are subverted. Beckett＇s fiction in Wittgenstein＇s theoretical perspective stresses the meaning of a word is its use in the language. Meanwhile, Beckett designs narra- tive labyrinths to make it clear that language is most efficiently used where it is being most efficiently misused.
