摘　　要：IEC 61850标准正从变电站自动化系统逐步扩展到水电厂自动化系统,解决水电厂内通信协议不一致、数据中转环节多等问题。然而,当前国内对IEC61850标准在水电厂中的适用性仍然存在疑虑。针对该问题,介绍了IEC61850标准与水电厂相关的部分内容及相关标准的最新进展情况,通过分析证明了IEC61850标准在水电厂中的适用性,推动IEC61850标准在水电厂中推广应用。The IEC 61850 has been extended from substation to hydropower station,solving the problems of inconsistent communication protocols and data relay. However,There is stil doubt about the applicability of using IEC 61850 in hydropower plant. Thus,hydro-related part and latest developments of IEC 61850 have been introduced,and the applicability has been analysized,pushing forward the application of IEC 61850 in hydropower plant.
