摘 要:考察明清通俗小说贞节观书写中的叙事母题,关系最为密切的便是因果报应,它反映了古人对贞节观的重视和劝谕态度。其大体可分成惩戒和劝谕两个书写方向:通过惩淫诛奸的恶报来达到警醒读者的目的和通过劝贞奖节的善报来鼓吹贞节观念,以前一情形书写更为普遍。除此以外,也有对贞节果报的背离和自我救赎,这体现了小说作者对现实人性认识的深刻程度。贞节观念和果报思想的密切关系,乃中国古老的鬼魂报应观念形成的民族集体意识与儒释道三教共通的禁色戒淫思想结合的产物,从西方功利主义伦理学分析,它暗合了道德和报偿的内在联系。Karma is a narrative motif which is most closely allied to chastity writing of popular novels of Ming and Qing dynasty.It's a reflection of the ancients to embody the author's purpose of advising kindness and punishing evil.Basically,it can be divided into two types,by writing of evil results of punishing pruriency and killing adultery to alert readers and to advocate the concept of chastity by prizing it.The former is more prevalent.Besides it,deviation and self redemption of chastity retribution is also written by authors of novels,which reflects the author's profound understanding of reality.Their relationship can be seen as the combination of the national collective consciousness formed by the ancient ghost retribution idea and pruriency abstinence thought of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism in common,and it coincides with the inner relationship of morality and reward from view of western utilitarian ethics.
