In this paper, we have carried out diachronic and synchronic review and logical reflection on the rheological phenomena of religious and physical activities. The study suggests that: the rheological process of the relationship between religions and sports has experienced the processes of exclusiveness, inclusiveness and recognition and polyphony, showing apparent absurdity. Religious sa- credness and secularity, structural tension of political and religious unification and political and religious separation as well as mirror tension of natural body, power body, individual body and sacred and secular body are the main causes for the absurdity of the rela- tionship between religions and sports. The benign mutual construction between them and polyphony of humanity and divinity is the path to surmount the absurdity of religions and sports. The specific reflection is that religious sacredness can effectively govern ethi- cal misconducts. Sports have gradually become a new kind of individualized and free exoteric religion, and the implication behind it is to recognize the religion--like self--transcendence spirit of human beings while shortening the distance of "followers" worshiping the original religion.
