摘　　要：《看看他们:北京100个外来贫困农民家庭》是社会学家周拥平整理编写的一部以口述资料为形式,反映我国20世纪90年代进京贫困农民生存状态的著作。书中的口述资料揭示了我国20世纪90年代进京贫困农民离村原因:人地矛盾尖锐、自然灾害严重、农村就医条件差、基层腐败问题严重、逃避计划生育政策惩罚、创业失败造成的债务危机、为自建新房而积累资金、为子女争取更好的教育条件以及维护"脸面"的心态。从本质上来看,这些原因都源于当时农民的物质生活危机。在当今时代,我们仍需努力提高广大农民尤其是贫困农民的物质生活水平,以控制农村劳动力的外流。Look at Them： 100 Migrant Poor Farmers Families in Beo＇ing is a book that organized and composed by the sociologist Zhou Yong-ping. The book reflects the living condition of the migrant poor farmers family in the form of oral narration. These oral informations reflect the main reasons for poor farmers＇ leaving home for beijing： sharp contradiction between people and land; serious natural disasters; poor medical conditions; local govemement corruption; to escape the punishment for breaking one-child policy; debt crisis caused by family business; to earn money to build a house; to get better education conditions for their children; and to save their faces. In essence, they are all come from the crisis of farmers＇ material life. We still need to raise the level of farmers＇ material life to control the outflow of rural labor.
