摘 要:"誓"作为一种文体,生成于原始宗教祈祷神灵的仪式。先秦"誓"体根据所用礼仪场合的不同,分为祈祷之誓、军旅之誓、会盟之誓、私人之誓、假道之誓、约剂之誓和悔过之誓等多个类型。各种"誓"体的内涵和仪式虽然不同,但其文化功能是一致的。"誓"之行为,是在神灵的监临下限制起誓主体的随意行为,建立、规范、调节人神关系、人际关系,以达到维持和建构稳定的社会秩序的目的。誓约行为中蕴含了丰富的契约精神,包括神灵信仰、对等原则和信用体系。The oath,which was formed by the primitive religious prayer ceremonies,was one important kind of literary style in the pre-Qin period. According to different ceremonies occasions,the oath could be differentiated into the prayer oath,the military oath,the alliance oath,the private oath,the oath of passing through others country land,the contract oath and the repentance oath. The oaths had some certain cultural function in spite of various connotations and different ceremonies. Under the divinities supervising,the oath limited random acts of swear subject,established,standardized and regulated the relationship between man and divinities,and also the interpersonal. All these were to maintain and construct a stable social order. Thus the behavior of the oath reflected the contract spirit such as divinities faith,the principle of reciprocity and credit system.
