摘　　要：作为情态系统的一个重要组成部分,情态附加语是体现语言人际功能的必不可少的手段。该文根据韩礼德的系统功能语法对情态附加语的分类、用法、所存在的不足之处及其功能做一个综合性的分析,以此加深对语气附加语和评论附加语的理解与认识。Modal adjuncts, as one of the important parts of the modal system, are essential m e a n s to reflect the interpersonal function of language. On the basis of Halliday＇s5 s Functional Linguistics, the author analyses the classification, usage, shortcomings and functions on modal adjuncts, soas to deepen the understanding and awareness of moodadjunct and comment adjuncts.
