摘　　要：以近代建筑重要类型之一——百货公司发展过程作为切入点,以上海四大百货公司建筑作为研究对象,从功能设置、立面形式等方面分析各个百货大楼的建筑特点,并探讨其背后的社会、文化因素,总结建筑形成的历史原因。This paper studies the functional settings and facade forms of the Four Companies in Shanghai, typical example of modern Chinese department stores as a crucial modern commercial architectural type. It also explores the social and cultural factors behind the architectural characteristics and the emergence of these buildings.
