摘　　要：从乡镇卫生院的历史发展着手,介绍了乡镇卫生院经历的4个发展阶段,分析其性质与功能定位的政策界定以及在实践中的演变,总结出乡镇卫生院的发展除了政府在经济上的支持外,还应有政策上的引导,并对其进行评审。It sets about from history development of township health centers （THCs） . It introduces four development phases of THCs experi- ence. It analyzes its policy definition and evolution in practice of the functions, and summarizes THCs need policy guidance to review beside e- conomically support from government.
