摘　　要：自强不息民族精神是我国几千年来发展与进步的精神支柱,有其独特的民族精神实质。自强不息民族精神在中国特色社会主义实践中实现现代转换,就是在新的时代背景下体现出的独特民族特色,即在中国特色社会主义实践的开拓性中实现自强不息民族精神时代内涵、时代价值、时代使命的现代转换,从而使之突破历史和时代的局限,发挥生生不息的生命力。The unyielding national spirit not only is the spiritual pillar for Chinese development and progress in the past thousands years, but also is the source of strength for the forge head of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The unremitting self - improvement, which reflects the substance of the national spirit, has a unique national feature during socialist practice with Chinese characteristics. This unremitting self - improvement is help for clarifying the development path of national rejuvenation, forming Chi- nese soul of the unceasing forge ahead, firming the national self - confidence of the self - improvement and self - development. Mean- while the unyielding national spirit would continue to develop during the pioneering practice of the socialism with Chinese characteris- tics.
