摘　　要：随着水路运输学科涉及的内容不断更新和扩大,其所包罗的知识内容和知识体系已经与《中图法》中所包含的内容有较大差距。对近10年水路运输类书目统计分析,从文献保障角度发现,《中图法》(第5版)水路运输类目的设置不尽合理。为提高《中图法》科学性和实用性,《中图法》编委会可以通过停用类目和合并概念相似类目解决文献保障不足的问题;通过拆分类目和细分类目解决某些类目文献过于集中的问题;通过增设新类目来及时反映水路运输领域的新设备、新技术和新理念。With the updating and enlargement of contents involve in waterway transport, the relevant content and system of knowledge have a large gap with the content in Chinese Library Classification. Through statistical analysis of waterway transportation bibliography in the last ten years, from the perspective of literature guarantee, it is found that the setting of the waterway transportation category in Chinese Library Classification （CLC） （5th edition） is not reasonable. To improye the scientificity and applicability of CLC, the CLC Editorial Board could solve the problem of insufficient literature guarantee by deactivating categories and merging categories with similar concept and few books, solve the problem of overly concentrated literatures in some categories by spliting concept repulsion categories and subdivided categories, and add new categories to reflect new equipment, technologies and concepts in the field of waterway transport.
