摘　　要：随着现代小说的兴起,中国古代小说自然走入历史,作为一种文学遗产而存在,站在现代立场上对中国古代小说艺术的回望与反思也随之展开。标本化是回望与反思中国古代小说的重要方式与内容,主要表现为对中国古代小说发展线索的厘定与代表性作品或经典作品的遴选和确认。鲁迅先生的《中国小说史略》是第一个成功的中国古代小说艺术标本。显然,对中国古代小说的标本化不是最终目的,让中国古代小说艺术重新鲜活起来,实现创造性地转化与利用,是我们面对中国古代小说以及其他文学传统的应有之意。With the rise of the modern novel,the ancient Chinese novels have become a literary heritage in history,followed by the academic reflection on the art of the ancient Chinese novels from the modern perspective.Canonization is an important way in the reflection,featured by the clarification of the evolution of ancient novels and the selection of representative masterpieces. Lu Xun's A Brief History of Chinese Novels is the first successful case in the field. However,the ultimate goal of the research involved is not only to canonize the ancient Chinese novels,but also to revitalize them in contemporary time in order to take advantage of the literary heritage.
