陌生化理论指导下的《动物农庄》探究

摘　　要：陌生化理论起源于俄国形式主义,强调文学语言的新奇与反常以及由此而产生的奇异感,从而使读者已经麻木的神经变得敏锐起来。《动物农庄》运用该手法把人类社会存在的极权主义赤裸裸地呈现在世人面前。分析《动物农庄》情节、人物、语言、形式等方面的陌生化,探讨陌生化现象在深化小说主题、增强语言感染力及小说艺术性方面的作用。Originated from Russia formalism, defamiliarizing theory emphasizes the novelty of literary language to a chieve the artistic effects, so that the readers＇ experiences can be renewed. George Orwell, the writer of Animal Farm , employs this technique to describe the authoritarianism of people. The thesis analyzes defamiliarizing technique manifested in the plot, protagonist, language and form of the novel. It also explores the functions of defamiliarizing in the presentation of the theme of the novel and the enhancement of its language charm and artistic taste.
