摘　　要：金本位时期,黄金在本币参与国际货币竞争中发挥了基础性作用。在信用货币时代,黄金的货币属性虽然减弱,但是贮藏功能凸显。黄金对加强本币信誉、抑制金融市场波动、维持本币内外价值稳定和提高本币国际定价权力方面起到重要作用。当前,世界经济和中国经济进入新常态,国际货币竞争出现新变化,中国应以史为鉴,发挥黄金对人民币参与国际货币竞争的作用:提高人民币信誉,维护金融稳定和提升人民币在黄金市场的定价能力。The Gold played a fundamental role in the currency competition under gold standard system.Under credit currency system,although the monetary nature of gold fell,its reserve function became significant.The gold plays an important role in enhancing sovereign currency＇s reputation,smoothening financial market fluctuations,maintaining home currency＇s stability and improving home currency＇s pricing power.As both of the world economy and Chinese economy are in the new normal,the international currency competition will be different.China needs to learn from history and let gold play the role in joining international currency competition：enhance the RMB＇s reputation,maintain financial stability and improve the RMB＇s pricing power in gold market.
