摘　　要：本文通过分析甘孜州新龙县两种西部霍尔语动词词干的音韵交替与分布的语境及与北部霍尔语进行比较,辨识出西部霍尔语动词词干形态若干存古特征。Western Horpa as spoken in Xinlong County of Ganzi Prefecture is a member of the Horpa language cluster under the Rgyalrongic subgroup of Qiangic,a branch of the Sino-Tibetan family.This paper,on the basis of the authors' first-hand fieldwork data,analyzes the formation strategies and functional distributions of verb stems in the Jialaxi and Youlaxi dialects of Western Horpa.The salient archaisms in Western Horpa stem alternation,identifiable via comparison with parallel morphological phenomena in the conservative Northern Horpa language,provide important clues to the original state of an obscure area of verbal morphology in Common Rgyalrongic.
