摘  要:网络功能虚拟化(NFV)旨在改变当前网络运营的模式,利用IT虚拟化技术,将现有的各类网络功能设备整合进标准的工业IT设备。在行业标准的x86服务器上运行使用软件实现的网络功能,来代替当前的专有硬件网络设备,使网络功能与硬件解耦,从而实现网络功能的灵活部署和管理,降低设备投资成本。本文提出基于Linux容器技术实现NFV平台,集成click软件框架,同时使用共享内存字符设备对容器之间的网络通信进行优化。通过使用共享内存字符设备作为容器之间的网络通信方式,及使用无锁队列在容器之间进行包转发,减少数据拷贝,提高吞吐,减小延迟。本文通过在真实的硬件平台上实验,对基于Linux容器的NFV平台的可用性和性能进行了验证。Network Function Virtualization(NFV) builds networks by evolving standard IT virtualization technology to consolidate many network equipment types onto industry standard x86 server. Running the implementation of network functions in software on a range of industry standard server can decouple the network functions and hardware, and then can realize the flexible deployment and management of network function, and reducing equipment investment cost.In this paper, based on Linux container, we implement a NFV platform and combining with click software architecture we optimize the network communication between the Linux containers which uses character devices of shared memory.We implement a character device of shared memory as the network connection between containers, forwarding packets between containers by using lock-free queue, increasing the throughput and decreasing thedelay by reducing some packets' copy.In thispaper, wedesign series of on the real hardware and software platform experiments to test the proposed NFV platform.
