摘　　要：民族问题是社会总问题的一部分,它必然与特定的时空场域相联系。市场经济发展、区域梯度发展与社会结构转型相互交织,构成当代中国经济发展的动力,也影响到多民族社会利益格局,诱发形成了当下的民族社会问题。应对和解决经济社会转型中的民族问题,消解多民族社会结构紧张,需要提供整合型的解决方案:一是推动国家治理战略的转型,推动现代化走向公正协调的发展道路;二是调整民族问题的治理思路,发挥民族政策、地区发展政策与社会政策的功能协同;三是调整国家与社会的关系,适度开放民族事务治理边界,形成政府主导与社会协同相结合的治理结构。Ethnic problems are a part of social problems and are related to specific temporal and spatial domains. The development of market economy, the regional gradient development and the transformation of social structures have combined to constitute the motive force for the contemporary＂ economic development of China, but at the same time they have transformed the patterns of interest distribu- tion of all the ethnic groups, and induced some ethnic problems in contemporary China. To solve the ethnic problems in the course of economic and social transformation and lessen the structural tension of multi - ethnic societies relies on integrated approaches ： first, it is necessary to promote the transformation of the national governance strategy and the modernization focusing on justice; second, it is necessary to have new governance ideas concerning ethnic problems and bring into full play all the functions of our ethnic policies, local development policies and special polices; third, it is a must to improve the relationship between the government and the society, carry out flexible policies for the handling of ethnic affairs, and establish a governance mechanism with the government - led and community - involved features.
