摘　　要：加拿大当代著名女作家卡罗尔·希尔兹的代表作《斯通家史札记》伦理内涵丰富,通过记述出生、婚姻、死亡等平凡的"大事件"展示了主人公黛西孤独忧伤的情感世界和空虚苦闷的心路历程,表达了以她为代表的西方妇女自强不息、自立于社会的坚强意志和决心,呼吁广大女性积极寻找并创造自己的伦理身份,实现女性合理的人伦诉求。本文以文学伦理学为基础,分析黛西在故事中各种伦理身份的缺失和伦理诉求的破灭,探究其一生孤独的伦理原因,并指出作者期待建立男女平等的伦理环境的理想人伦诉求。Carol Shields is a famous contemporary Canadian writer,whose masterpiece,The Stone Diaries,depicts Daisy's loneliness and sufferings through common incidents such as birth,marriage and death,shows the strong will of Western women to strive constantly and appeals to the broad masses of women to evoke their ethical consciousness and seek their proper ethical identity. In order to explore the ethical causes of Daisy's lifetime loneliness,the paper analyzes the deficiency of her ethical identities and the disillusionment of her ethical pursuit. The paper also points out Carol Shields' persistent ethical appeal to build up the ethical environment of gender equality.
