摘　　要：本文首先回顾了美国铁路建设的历史发展状况,追溯了铁路车站的形制演变。然后介绍了美国历史火车站在城市复兴过程中所发挥的巨大作用,以及美国针对历史车站保护所成立的保护组织及制定的保护准则;最后通过对美国在城市发展过程中几个大型火车站的保护与适应性利用为案例,试图归纳出美国在历史车站保护方面的几种模式及其中值得借鉴的经验。This paper first reviews the historical development of the railway construction in America,and traces the form evolution of railway station,and then introduces the great role of American historic station in the process of urban renewal,the protection organizations and the conservation criterion.Finally,this paper tries to sum up some experiences of the conservation of as well as the historic stations in the United States.
