摘　　要：西部民族地区可再生能源分布广泛,种类众多,在可再生能源的发展问题中有着突出的资源优势和政策优势,发展西部民族地区的可再生能源具有重大的现实意义和战略意义。在国家"十三五"政策的引导下,西部民族地区可再生能源的开发利用必须加强推广力度,因地制宜,注重相关人才培养,鼓励创新创业,使当地可再生能源发展进入新高度。The biggest challenge for China's energy is sustainability of the environment. Especially in recent years,global warming,frequent natural disasters,and the serious reduction of the natural resources and energy are gravely affecting normal production and mankind's existence. Burning large amounts of fossil fuel produces greenhouse gases and polluted soot. The development and utilization of renewable energy is extremely urgent. In other words,renewable energy sources must grow briskly. Under the guidance of the national policy of the '13th Five Year Plan',the development and utilization of renewable energy sources in the Western Minority Areas must be strengthened based on local conditions,by paying attention to relevant personnel training,and encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship so that the development of local renewable energy sources can reach a new level.Promoting a low-carbon cyclical development is the overall direction for the development of renewable energy sources in the next five years in China. For the Western Ethnic Regions,the development and utilization of renewable energy sources is not only conducive to optimizing the industrial structure,and increasing the energy supply,but it is also conducive to protecting the ecology and environment,promoting the rapid development of the regional economy,and safeguarding national unity. The development of renewable energy sources in the western region of China is of great practical and strategic significance.Some of the research conducted in the past analyzed the difficulties in developing the Western Minority Areas. Ethnic areas should first optimize their industrial structure; and reduce dependence on coal resources; second,they should guide industrial agglomeration,and improve the efficiency of industrial land use; then,they should pay attention to the coordination of regional internal economic development,and strive to achieve the overall growth of the region's internal economy.
