摘　　要：后视镜作为汽车的重要部件对行驶安全和操作方便性起到重要作用,后视镜的设计方法是汽车工程师关注的重要方面。文章介绍了后视镜相关的法规要求,并从整车功能角度研究了外后视镜的设计方法,并提出了一种确定球面后视镜镜面最小边界的方法。Rear mirror as an important component of vehicle has a great influence on safe traveling and convenient operation, so the design method of the rearview mirror needs more attention of engineers. Regulations on the rearview mirror have been introduced in this article. New method of designing rearview mirror based on the vehicle function has been discussed. In the end, the author presents a way to determine the boundary of rearview mirror.
