摘　　要：中华优秀传统文化基因是存在于大学生心灵深处固有的思想和文化,也是大学生社会主义核心价值观教育的最基本的文化元素。通过阐述文化基因的基本内涵和特性,探索通过激活文化基因来传承创新中华优秀传统文化,激发传统文化的生命力和时代价值,萃取思想精华,发挥激活文化基因在大学生社会主义核心价值观教育中的作用,进而创新方式方法,不断推进大学生社会主义核心价值观教育。Chinese traditional culture gene is thought and culture, which is presented in the inherent depths of the students’ soul, and is the most basic elements of college students’ socialist core values education. This article explains the basic connotation and characteristics of cultural genes, explores through activating cultural genes to inherit and innovate Chinese traditional culture, stimulate the vitality and the era value of traditional culture, and extract the essence of thinking. Cultural genes play an important role in activating students’ socialism core values education, thus encouraging further innovative ways and means to continuously push forward the students’ socialist core values education.
