由清华简《系年》论“共和行政”的相关问题  

A Re-examination of the Gong He Administration and Its Related Problems on the Basis of the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips XINIAN

摘　　要：关于"共和行政",《史记》和《竹书纪年》等的说法即有歧异,对此,古今学者已有诸多论辩。最近公布的清华简《系年》,其所载与前二者有同亦有异,这为我们重新检讨学术史上的一些问题提供了新的线索。据清华简《系年》所载,所谓周厉王之放逐,主要是周王室所直辖区人(包括各级官吏、内诸侯以及国人),而外诸侯实际上并未参与此事;但由于周厉王施政之暴虐,外诸侯也开始不朝王;而周厉王就是在这种内外交困的情况下被流放的。所谓"共和行政"实际上是周、召二公与共伯和的联合执政,前者代表内诸侯势力,后者则代表外诸侯势力;此事件本质上是内、外诸侯争夺王权的第一次较量。There was considerable ambiguity about the record of the ＂ Gong He administration＂ between ZHUSHU JINIAN and SHIJI. In this regard, ancient and modern scholars have many arguments. The recently published XINIAN in the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips contains the same as the former two but is also different from them, which gives us a new clue to review some issues. According to XINIAN, King Li of Zhou was exiled mainly by the royal territory people （ including officials at all levels, inner dukes and citizens）, outer dukes did not actually involve in the matter. However, due to the tyranny of King Li＇ s governance, outer dukes also began not to go to meet the King of Zhou. In this case, King Li of Zhou was exiled. So-called ＂ Gong He administration＂ actually means governance by the Duke Zhou and Duke Shao, together with Duke He of Gong. The former represented the inner dukes＇ forces, while the latter represented the outer dukes＇ forces. This event is essentially the first contest for king＇ s power.
