摘　　要：苏州的优势传统产业正面临严峻挑战。传统的经济发展思路和发展路径让苏州优势传统产业发展遇到了瓶颈,现阶段急需探索可持续性发展道路,提高传统产业的创新发展能力,增强产业的核心竞争力。苏州传统领先产业需要高度重视自身创新能力的提升,加快落后产业的改造和提升技术进步的速度,为未来苏州经济增长提供强力支撑。The traditionally advantaged industries in Soochow are facing serious problems. The old development path and the local firms＇ narrow minds have constrained the further development of these Soochow＇ s traditionally advantaged industries. Therefore, we need to explore new ways of development. That is, we need to develop industries by advancing science and technology, enhancing innovation, and promoting the core competence. To adapt ourselves to the new enviromnent, the six advantaged industries in our city should pay high attention to promote innovation, upgrade outdated industry, enhance technology level, and find new paths for improve profit. Only by doing this can we find out the new spots of economic growth and provide strong support for Sooehow＇ s growth in the future.
