精神信仰下的身体资本:再论霍桑文学作品中的身体观

摘　　要：霍桑的文学作品大都是在探讨宗教与道德、宗教与信仰、宗教与科学以及宗教与社会的相互关系,其背后都是围绕精神信仰与身体的核心展开的。以马克思提出的影响身体行为的道德规范是取决于社会的生产关系的视角分析认为,霍桑在文学作品中试图建构起的身体观是在批判的基础上,通过宗教信仰引导与规训,使身体成为原始积累的资本,建构起一种旨在为资产阶级生产关系服务的资本主义身体观。Hawthorne＇ s literary works are mostly concerned about relationships between religions and morals, religion and beliefs ,religion and science, religion and social relations, behind of which they focus on spiritual beliefs and body indeed. The paper explores the development and evolution of body concept in western philosophy system and analyses body＇s role and status in western philosophy system and relations of social production. From Marxf s perspective that production relations in society determines physical morals norm mostly, Hawthorn tried to construct the body concept critically and made body become the capital of primitive accumulation under the guidance and disciple of religions. In Hawthorn＇s literary works, capitalism body concept is constructed to serve bourgeois production relations.
