摘　　要：宗教极端主义正成为治理新疆不得不面临的严峻挑战。文章认为宗教极端主义可分为宗教内的极端主义和外在于宗教并借宗教名义的极端主义两种不同类型,第一种类型的宗教极端主义向第二种类型的宗教极端主义的蜕变是一个由量变到质变的过程。在新疆,应重视防范宗教极端化倾向,认清宗教极端主义的本质及类型,遏制第二种类型宗教极端主义的形成和蔓延。The religious extremism is becoming the most serious challenge to Xinjiang.The paper divided the extremism into the extremism in religion and the extremism which acts in name of religion but has not any relation with religion.The former decayed to the latter is a process of quantitative change to qualitative change.We should focus on prevention of religious extreme inclination,recognize the nature and type of religious extremism,detain the formation and extension of the latter extremism in Xinjiang.
