摘　　要：‘海蜜8号’以从国外引进的自交系‘HG105-83’母本,以‘Y9711-105-9’为父本配制的厚皮甜瓜新品种。该品种植株生长健壮,抗枯萎病。果实开花后46 d左右成熟,果皮灰绿色,网纹均匀,成熟果柄处略带黄色,果实高圆形,果形指数1.1,果肉黄绿色,果肉厚度3.8 cm,中心可溶性固形物含量15.3%,边部9.8%,肉质细软,口感好。果实不易脱蒂,耐贮运。结果性好,单果质量1.4 kg,每667 m^2产量约2 447 kg。适合我国大部分地区保护地栽培及西北干旱地区露地栽培。2014年10月通过全国西瓜甜瓜品种鉴定委员会鉴定。‘Haimi No. 8＇ is a new muskmelon variety. It is F1 hybrid melon developed by crossing two inbred lion‘HG105-83＇ and‘Y9711-105-9＇. It is highly resistant to fusarinm wilt. The fruit development period is about 46 days. The fruit shin is covered with sage green netting. It is shape index 1.1. The flesh is yellow-green with thickness of 3.8 cm. The flesh central soluble solids content is 15.3% and 9.8% near skin. The average fruit weight is about 1.4 kg with good stor- age and shipping ability. The yield per 667 m2 is about 2 447 kg. It is suitable for greenhouse production and open field pro- duction in Northwest China.
