摘　　要：本文简要回顾了国内外对英语动词补语结构的研究,结合现有研究中的不足之处,对英语言语类动词不定式补足成分进行了深入的句法与语义分析。本文提出,不定式具有行为潜在倾向性语义特征,可有互参性例外用法。本文还完善了Dixon和Wierzbicka关于判断性不定式的用法描写。This paper briefly reviews the studies of the English verb complement structures at home and abroad and points out some explanatory inadequacies of the existing research. It presents an intensive syntactic, semantic study of EngliSh speaking verbs in terms of the infinitive complements. It identifies the potentiality for action as an intrinsic semantic feature of the infinitive. It discusses a co- referentiality exception in the case of say. Finally, it presents an in-depth description of the structural and semantic features of the JUDGEMENT TO.
