对CALIS使用部分4--字段编目的合理性分析

摘　　要：CALIS是当前我国最大的联合编目机构之一,但其在部分4--字段的用法上存在值得商榷之处。文章结合培训教材中的实例,找出在使用这些4--字段时存在的主要问题,即在无法实现记录连接又无需生成附注的情况下,只能寄希望于OPAC系统为4--字段开发出题名检索功能,而这一功能的存在对实现记录连接的书目数据而言,则意味着题名检索点的重复制作。CALIS is one of the largest joint cataloging organizations in China, but there are some problems in the usage of the part of 4--fields. Com- bined with the examples in training materials, this paper finds the major problems in the use of these 4--fields, that is the case in which the record is not connected and without the need to generate a note, can only hope in the OPAC system can develop the title search function for 4--fields, and to the bibliographic data of record linkage, the function also means the repeat production of title search point.
