摘　　要：文章通过对美国加州大学伯克利分校斯塔东亚图书馆中文馆藏的调查,认为其馆藏发展策略特别是在拓宽中文图书收藏渠道、发展特色馆藏、积极应对馆藏转型、利用信息手段发展馆藏、加强馆际间合作、避免重复建设等方面有其独特之处,有许多地方值得国内图书馆学习借鉴。Based on the general situation of Chinese books in the East Asian Library of UC Berkeley, the paper researched its strategies of developing Chinese Books. The East Asian Library of UC Berkeley＇s experience and characeristics of developing are a good example for Chinese local libraries.
