摘　　要："藏书"是我国古代文化传承的一个重要途径,历来受到知识分子的重视。愈是乱世,人们愈是怀念文化的繁荣,私人藏书在我国经历了漫长的发展过程,在清末民初达到鼎盛。刘承干,作为"民国私人藏书第一人",在国家危急存亡的关头,兴建藏书楼,耗费巨资购书藏书,为中华民族传统文化的保存贡献了自己的力量,其藏书活动颇具特色,对后世也有一定的影响。“Collecting books” is an important way of ancient Chinese cultural inheritance, which has been attached importance to by the intellectuals. The more troubled times is, the more people cherish the memory of cul-tural prosperity. Private book collection in our country experienced a long process of development, and reached its peak in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. As the first private book collector in the Republic of Chi-na, Liu Chenggan built the library, when our country was in crisis. He spent huge amounts of money to buy books, which contributed to the preservation of traditional Chinese culture. His books collecting activities have distinctive characteristics and exert a certain influence on future generations.
