摘  要:Rational development and utilization of hilly land is an effective measure for raising land productivity, developing countryside economy, increasing peasants' income, conserving soil and water, and improving eco-environment. The growth and root distribution of mulberry trees were studied. Various indexes including soil physical characters and hydrological status, water infiltration rate, water and soil loss and soil erosion amount were tested. The results indicated that mulberry trees had the effects of intercepting rainfall, improving soil infiltration rate, decreasing soil erosion amount, and conserving water and soil山区土地资源的合理开发利用,是提高土地生产率,发展农村经济,增加农民收入,保持水地,改善生态环境的有产措施。利用生态学、水土保持学原理对桑树的生长、根系分布情况及桑园的水土流失情况进行了监测,研究结果表明,桑树能明显改善土壤物理性状,提高土壤渗透速度,减少土壤侵蚀量,固土保土效益显著。
