摘　　要：构建具有中国特色的现代大学制度,是高等学校提高质量、办出特色、加快发展,实现特色发展、科学发展、和谐发展的必然选择。河南理工大学作为河南省建立最早的高等学校,在百余年办学实践中,坚持以体制机制和政策制度体系创新为基础,构建了具有中国特色的现代大学制度,推动了学校事业发展,为建设有特色、高水平的地方高校做出了重要贡献。Constructing the modern university system with Chinese characteristics is an inevitable choice for uni- versities to improve the quality, build the characteristics, speed up the development and realize the characteristic, sci- entific and harmonious development. Henan Polytechnic University as the earliest-established university in Henan has built the modern university system with Chinese characteristics and promoted the development of the school by sticking to the innovation of institutional mechanism and policy system as the basis in the school-running practice of over a hundred years to has made an important contribution for constructing the high-level local universities with features.
