美国人参与志愿服务现状及启示

摘　　要：在2014年9月到2015年9月期间,大约有6262.3万的美国人参加过至少一次志愿服务,占16岁及以上美国人口的24.9%,平均贡献52个小时,从事众多的志愿服务活动。美国志愿服务的发展有着深厚的文化背景和社会体系作支撑。美国领导人的倡导对促进志愿服务的发展起到了重要的示范作用。美国志愿服务活动领域广泛,经费来源多渠道化,志愿者具有强烈的奉献精神,志愿服务实现制度化、法制化并得到政府的支持。美国志愿服务的发展对我国志愿服务的开展具有多方面的启示。About 62.623 million Americans, which accounted for 24.9% of American population above the age of 16 years, took part in volunteer service at least once with an average 52 hours of service time in various volunteer service activities during the period from September, 2014 to September, 2015. Under profound cultural background, American volunteer service is supported by the social systems. The initiative taken by American state leaders plays an important and exemplary role for the promotion and development of volunteer service. Volunteer service activities in America with a variety of fund raising channel can be seen in extensive spheres, while the volunteers have strong spirit of utter devotion and the volunteer services are institutionalized and legalized with support from the govemmant, so the development of American volunteer service provides extensive inspiration to that in our country.
