摘　　要：通过对詹姆斯的经典著作《超越界限》一书的细读,分别从体育社会学、体育史学、体育文化和修辞学方面分析这一著作的价值和意义,梳理有关特立尼达/西印度群岛的思想家詹姆斯的板球(体育)思想,并由此引申到詹姆斯的体育思想对西方体育社会学研究的影响,梳理后殖民主义体育及其研究的发展脉络,延伸出后殖民主义体育思想对中国体育研究的影响和在中国的发展前景。The paper discusses the value and significance of Beyond Limits written by ]ames from the perspectives of sports sociology, sports history, sports culture and rhetoric and discusses James＇ idea about cricket, who comes from Trinidad / West Indies and the influence of his idea on western sports sociology. The paper discusses the post-colonialism sport and the research development and the influence of post-colonialism sports ideology on Chinese sports researches. The post-colonialism sports ideology has become an important paradigm of the sports theory development under different cultural background.
