摘　　要：当代美国犹太作家菲利普·罗斯的以色列书写是他探寻犹太民族身份过程中最为复杂的空间实践，他笔下的人物以朝圣者的心态到达现实的以色列，却发现应允之地已成为犹太人畸形的家园，流散之地美国或许才是真正的归宿，而美国、以色列的旅行循环承认了身份认同存在多重空间。本文认为罗斯的以色列书写将以色列作为检验犹太人身份的实验场，质疑了以色列作为本质的犹太人家园的唯一性，展示了犹太民族身份的历史多维性和内在矛盾性。Philip Roth＇ s Israel writing is the most complex spatial practice during his search for Jewish identity. His characters arrived State of Israel as the pilgrim only to find the Promised Land to be abnormality; the Diaspora of the America may be the real destination. At the same time, the America- Israel-America travel circulation acknowledged the existence of multiple identities space, Israel gave imagination and identities to American Jews. This paper argues that Israel was used to examine the Jewish identity, questioning the uniqueness of Israel as the nature of Jewish homeland, showing the multidimensional history of the Jewish identity and their inherent contradictions.
