摘　　要：通过构建区域经济发展水平评价指标体系,采用因子分析法、聚类分析法对江苏省13个地级市统计数据进行相应的实证分析,根据实证结果将这13个地级市依次划分为发达城市、次发达城市、一般城市和欠发达城市这四个梯队,分析区域经济发展差距存在的原因,最终提出江苏区域经济协调发展的一些建议。The authors first constructed the evaluation index system for regional economic development level, carried out factor analysis and cluster analysis for the data from 13 cities in Jiangsu province. They then divided the cities into four types according to the analysis result： developed cities, less developed cities, cities, and underdeveloped cites. They finally analyzed the causes for regional economic development disparity, proposed some suggestions.
