摘  要:传播不仅是人的存在方式,也是人的存在理由。受制于媒介形态的不易接近性和信息传播的非充分性,人类在前互联网时代的生存是一种局限生存,即人以传播行为为外观的生存境遇是局促的,无法尽兴;移动互联网应用的普及,使人的传播生存桎梏逐渐打破,其生存状态日益接近于无所不在,亦即泛在——人的全息本体具有了越来越多的分身或镜像,似乎可以全时存在于全网络。与此同时,又出现了另一种情况:因为24小时在线的原因,人似乎每每"生活在别处",反而很少全身心沉浸于当下现场,这在整体上呈现出一种大面积的"在场缺席"的社会景观。当代人类这种时时生活在各处又从不生活在某处的矛盾状态,无疑值得省思。传播学者如果从这一省思中体悟到某种一般认识,则为传播研究反哺哲学社会科学掀开了大幕的一角。Communication is not only the way but also the reason of human existence. Subject to the inaccessibility of media forms and to the insufficiency of information dissemination, man lived a limited life in the pre-Internet era, that is to say, man's living circumstances, which were reflected in man's communicative behaviors, were cramped and unenjoyable. Thanks to the popularization of mobile Internet applications, the shackles of man's communicative existence have being broken gradually, making the existence more and more close to being omnipresent, namely being ubiquitous — man's physical being is having more and more holographic doppelgangers or mirror images, which makes people seem to exist all the time in the whole network. At the same time, another situation has been drawn to the attention of the author. Being 24 hours online, people often seem to 'be living elsewhere', but seldom present themselves wholeheartedly in current life, resulting in the appearance of a social landscape of the large-scale 'absence of presence' on the whole. It is worth our pondering about the contradictory state that contemporary human beings always live everywhere but never live somewhere. If communication scholars could hence achieve some common understandings, then communication studies might begin to contribute something to philosophy and social sciences as a return.
