摘　　要：民国时期大学纪念性图书馆的出现,缘于人们对办学的重视、对图书馆认识的提高、高校以募捐的方式应对经费短缺的局面等多重原由。这类图书馆对于高校图书馆的壮大与发展起到过无可替代的作用,同时也富于物质与精神的多重社会意义,形成那个年代特有的人文景观,并对于当代图书馆的发展具有启示作用。The emergence of the memorial library in university during the period of the Republic of China is due to various rea;ns, such as the emphasis on school running, the improved understanding of the library and the situation of which the universities relied on donation to cope with funds shortage. This kind of libraries played an irreplaceable role in the development of the university library, and was rich in social material and spiritual significance. It formed the unique cultural landscape of that period, and at the same time, it has enlightenment to the development of contemporary libraries.
