Comparison and Enlightenment of Mining Engineering Disciplines in Foreign Universities:Taking Four Universities in United States,Russia,Poland and Australia as Examples

摘  要:在全球经济下行的压力之下,中国矿业行业欲摆脱低迷、寻求突破发展就必须进行改革创新,而为行业发展提供智力支撑的高校矿业工程学科发展对行业发展影响重大。通过对美国科罗拉多矿业大学、俄罗斯圣彼得堡国立矿业学院、波兰矿业冶金学院和澳大利亚昆士兰大学的矿业工程学科在人才培养目标、专业课程设置和科学研究活动等方面进行比较研究,提出促进中国矿业工程学科自身的改革创新发展的举措:顺应时代发展,树立卓越人才培养目标;多元学科相辅相成,共同发展;营造浓厚学术氛围,鼓励学生自主创新;加强国际交流,紧跟学术前沿等建议。Under the pressure of global economic downturn, China's mining industry is inevita- ble to carry out reform and innovation in order to get rid of the recession and seek a break- through in the development. And the development of mining engineering disciplines which pro- vide intellectual support for the development of the industry has a great influence. This paper mainly studies comparatively the talent training objectives, professional curriculum setting and scientific research activities and other aspects in engineering disciplines in Colorado School of Mines in US, Saint--Petersburg Mining University in Russia, AGH University of Science and Technology in Poland and The University of Queensland in Australia. The authors propose the following suggestions to promote the reform, innovation and development of mining engineer- ing disciplines in China; 1) to comply with the development of times, and set up excellent tal- ent training objectives; 2) to develop diverse disciplines, and make them supplement each other by mutual development;3) to create thick academic atmosphere, and encourage students' self- independent innovation; 4) to strengthen international communication and cooperation, and follow the academic frontier closely.
