摘　　要：开辟国际稿源是期刊国际化发展的重要举措。与此同时,科技期刊的学术质量,归根结底依赖于稿源的质量,高质量国际稿源是期刊高速良性发展的基础。笔者回顾多年工作得失,探讨如何充分利用Web of Science数据库强大的功能,来开辟国际稿源,为其他英文科技期刊抛砖引玉,提供参考。Attracting manuscripts submission from all over the world is an important measure for the internationalization of the journal. Meanwhile, the academic quality of the journal is closely related to the quality of the submitted manuscripts. Therefore, high quality international manuscripts are the solid basis for the development of the journal. The authors discussed the application of＂Web of Science＂in attracting international manuscripts. Hopefully, this summary of gain and loss experience would help other English sci-tech journals to successfully attract international manuscripts.
