Material culture industry: another possibility of cultural creative industry——a response to the fashion industry

摘  要:时尚产业与文化创意产业的交集,可以归入"时尚设计"或"设计品牌时尚"。饶有意味的是,在不同国家、地区或组织的文化创意产业分类中,有的将"时尚设计"或"设计品牌时尚"列入其中,有的则并未提及。通过对9个国家、地区或组织文化创意产业标准的考察发现,这一分类标准体现了对时尚产业的四种角色定位:时尚产业领导者、时尚产业紧密跟随者、无视时尚产业者、以本土对抗时尚产业者。通过对国内外文化创意产业所采取的立场、策略的分析,本文提出,物质文化产业是文化创意产业的重要组成部分,是时尚产业框架之外的另一种可能。There is an overlap between fashion industry and cultural creative industry, and such overlap can be named as "fashion design" or "design brand fashion" . It is interesting that only some countries, regions or organizations include the "fashion design" or "design brand fashion" in the category of culture creative industry. To find out the categorization standards, we studied the standards of cuhural creative industry in nine countries, regions or organizations, and find that such classification standards embodies four role orientations on the fashion industry chain: fashion industry leader, fashion industry follower, fashion industry ignorer, and fashion industry rebel that advocates local elements. These different role orientations on the fashion industry chain can also be seen from the attitudes and orientations of the four tier-1 cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen) towards the fashion industry. Currently, Beijing and Guangzhou choose to ignore the fashion industry, while Shanghai chooses to closely follow the fashion industry. As for Shenzhen, while it is promoting the development of the fashion industry, it has not made a clear self-positioning. Based on this, this paper recommends that, in the process of developing the fashion industry, Shenzhen can introduce a development perspective of cultural creative industry, and include it in the framework of material culture industry, so as to find a unique development path outside the global fashion industry chain.
