摘　　要：从GIS技术在工程测量中的智能化的数据管理与应用、空间关系和属性特征的查询功能、科学的空间分析功能、三维GIS的可视化表达等4个主要应用方面入手,分析了在GIS技术的推动下现代测量学的发展方向,以及工程测量学的新目标。On the basis of four main applications of GIS technology in engineering surveying including the intelligent data management and application, the inquiry function of spatial relationship and attribute characteristics, scientific spatial analysis function, visualized representation of three-dimensional GIS, the development direction of modem surveying and the new teaching target of engineering surveying were analyzed with the aids of GIS technology.
