《申报》数据库比较——兼论民国文献数据库建设

摘　　要：民国文献数据库建设是对民国文献进行保护的重要措施之一。目前民国文献数字化技术虽然已经较为成熟,但是民国文献数据库建设还存在许多问题。本文通过对最具代表性的四家《申报》数据库进行比较,总结它们在收录范围、检索和浏览功能、检索性能上的优缺点,结合民国文献和其用户的特点,讨论目前民国文献数据库建设需要重视和改进的地方,包括加强文献普查以提高收全率、提高文字识别质量、加强标引和分类工作、改进界面友好性和提供便利的检索功能。The construction of the literature database of the Republic of China is one of the important measures to protect the literature of that period. Although the digitalizing technology of the Republic of China literature has developed mature, many problems remain in the database construction work. This paper, by studying and comparing the four representative databases of Shenbao, summarized their advantages and disadvantages in terms of collecting scope, retrieval and browsing functions. In light of the characteristics of the literature of Republic of China period as well as those of users, this paper discussed measures for improvement, which included coverage rate, quality of character recognition, the indexing and classification, user-friendliness of interface as well as retrieval function.
