煤沥青分级制备活性炭的初步研究

摘  要:以煤沥青为原料,采用萃取预分级煤沥青,制备煤沥青活性炭。对不同组分煤沥青、碳化和活化等因素的影响进行了探索。实验结果表明甲苯可溶物制备的活性炭优于原料中温煤沥青和甲苯不溶物,甲苯可溶物比表面积与原料相比提高了52.4%;TS碳化温度在400℃以上和时间在3 h左右;TS活化温度在800℃和时间1.5 h左右;SEM扫描电镜显示,甲苯可溶物制备的活性炭是层状的片状结构。因此,甲苯不容物不适于制备活性炭,而甲苯可溶物更适合于高比表面积的活性炭制备。Activated carbon was prepared from coal tar pitch as raw material by extraction to grad coal pitch. Influencing factors is studied from different components of coal tar pitch,carbonization and activation process in this thesis. The results showed that the performance of activated carbon prepared from toluene soluble component is better than from toluene insoluble component and coal tar pitch; the surface area of the activated carbon from toluene soluble component increased by 52. 4% compared with the raw material coal tar pitch; the optimum conditions are: TS carbonization temperature is about 400℃ and carbonization time is about 3h,TS activation temperature is about 800℃ and activation time is about 1. 5 h. Activated carbon has been characterized by SEM,which imply activated carbon is a layered structure. Therefore,toluene insoluble component is not suitable for the preparation of activated carbon,and toluene soluble component is more suitable for preparation of high specific surface area activated carbon.
