摘　　要：齐齐哈尔是一座历史底蕴深厚、地域文化异彩纷呈的北疆重镇。自康熙三十八年(1699年)黑龙江将军衙门移驻齐齐哈尔城以来,相关的历史文献中关于齐齐哈尔地名的记载逐渐增多。但是由于缺乏深入的研究和详实的考证工作,长期以来,对于"齐齐哈尔"这个城市地名的由来及其含义的解释众说纷纭:有蒙语"吉答",草原之意;满语"齐齐喀喇",鸟的栖息地之意;达斡尔语"齐齐哈日",天然牧场之意等说法。文章就历史文献中有关"齐齐哈尔"和"卜奎(魁)"地名的相关记载作系统的梳理,对齐齐哈尔地名的由来及其含义的解释进行梳理和综述。Qiqihar is a northern town of historical heritage with geographical and cultural splendor. Since the 8th year of Kangxi（ 1699） when the Heilongjiang General Government came to Qiqihar,the records of toponymy have been increasing. Considering the inadequate research and reference work,there are many versions of interpretations about the origin of the city name： ＂Jida＂,a Mongolian word which means ＂prairie＂; ＂Qiqikala＂,a Manchu word which means bird habitats; ＂Qiqihari＂,a Daur word which means pasture. Historical records about ＂Qiqihar＂and ＂Bukui＂as names of places are reviewed and summarized so that the origin and meaning of ＂Qiqihar＂is interpreted.
