基于现代法治视野下对荀子礼法观的理解

摘　　要：现代法治社会背景下,荀子的礼法观依然对法治社会建设具有重要启示意义。荀子将礼视为法的价值取向,将法视为礼的外在强制手段,强调礼法相辅相成。对现代法治社会的推进,我们不仅应当加强思想道德建设,还应当重视法的作用,依法而行,关键在于理顺道德与法的关系,从而推动社会的发展。In the modern legal society,Xun Zi＇s ideas on ＂Etiquette ＂ and ＂Law ＂ still has its important enlightenment significance for the rule of law society. Xun Zi regards etiquette as value orientation for law,and law as external coercion ceremony for etiquette. Xun Zi is always stressing etiquette complement each other. For promoting the rule of law in modern society,we should not only strengthen the ideological and moral construction,but also pay attention to the role of law. The key of a legal society lies in better rationalizing the relationship between morality and law,thus promoting the development of society.
