摘　　要：知识改变命运由一个确信无疑的命题变成一个需要审慎思考才能判断和把握的问题,这种改变意味着高等教育制造精英已经出现了合理性和合法性危机。这种危机的产生受国家力量的牵引,也与社会中介力量的牵制以及高校自身力量的渗入有关。如何从国家力量、社会中介力量以及高等教育自身力量的互动中寻找确证知识改善命运的推动力量,如何卸除农村教育的功能阻滞,既需要我们重新思考高等教育保守与激进这两种对立品质的内在关联,也需要我们重新审视高等教育独立性及其与社会的协商与妥协关系,从而使高等教育真正成为社会进步的推动者和个人社会地位的提升机。It is true that the statements of that knowledge can change person＇ s destiny, but today this statement has changed from being undoubted to need careful consideration, such kind of change means making elite through higher education has met the emergent crises for rationality and legitimacy, and the crises are affected by the national power, social intermediary force and universities. How to find the power from the state, the social intermediary and higher education itself in order to make the statement of that knowledge can change person＇ s destiny come true, and how to dismount the rural education function block, all these questions need us to re-examine the many forces and their relationships such as the cohesion between conservative and radical qualities of university, and how to make sure the individuality of university and coordination and negotiation between social powers and university. In this way, higher education will improve the social development and person＇ s fate.
