梧州钱监遗址炉渣研究

摘　　要：通过实地考察在梧州钱监遗址采集的炉渣,并对这些炉渣的样品使用扫描电子显微镜和金相显微镜等实验仪器进行了成分分析检测和金相组织观察,认定梧州钱监遗址存在大量使用含锰铁矿冶炼生铁的炉渣,表明该遗址不仅具有钱币铸造的功能,还进行较大规模的生铁冶炼.This research collected slags from Wuzhou Coin Casting Site through filed working. Compo- sition analyzing and detecting of these slag samples are made by using scanning electron microscope and some other experiment instruments, and the metallographic structures of these samples are observed by using met- allographic microscope. Based on the above analysis and observation, this paper identifies that there exists a large quantity of slags in Wuzhou Coin Casting Site, which were produced in the smelting of cast iron from Manganese-containing iron ore. This indicates that the Site not only functions as casting coins, but also smelting cast irons in a large scale.
